Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara adaptasi karir dan job hopping intention pada karyawan generasi Z. Adaptasi karir dipandang sebagai kompetensi psikososial yang berperan dalam menghadapi perubahan dan tantangan pekerjaan, sedangkan job hopping intention adalah kecenderungan individu untuk sering berpindah pekerjaan dalam waktu singkat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Sampel berjumlah 156 responden berusia 15–28 tahun yang telah melakukan perpindahan kerja dalam waktu 1–2 tahun. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Career Adapt-Abilities Scale (CAAS) dan skala Job Hopping dari Lake et al. (2017). Hasil analisis Pearson menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara adaptasi karir dan job hopping intention (r = -0,014; p = 0,859). Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor lain di luar adaptasi karir kemungkinan memiliki pengaruh lebih besar terhadap intensi karyawan untuk berpindah kerja
