DAMPAK KONSUMSI SHORT-FORM VIDEO PADA RENTANG PERHATIAN ANAK USIA 9-12 TAHUN

Konsumsi short-form video (video durasi pendek) seperti TikTok, YouTube Shorts, dan Instagram Reels semakin umum di kalangan anak usia sekolah dasar. Format tempo cepat dan menarik ini menimbulkan kekhawatiran terhadap dampak pada fungsi kognitif, khususnya perhatian, penyelesaian tugas, dan memori kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei potong lintang terhadap 50 orang tua anak berusia 7–12 tahun, untuk menganalisis hubungan antara kebiasaan menonton short-form video dan perilaku belajar anak. Analisis korelasi Pearson dan regresi berganda menunjukkan bahwa kebiasaan menonton memiliki hubungan negatif signifikan terhadap perhatian, penyelesaian pekerjaan rumah, dan memori kerja (β = −0,28 s.d. −0,37; p < 0,05), sementara durasi tidur berperan sebagai faktor pelindung positif. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pengawasan orang tua dan kebijakan penggunaan media digital yang seimbang dalam mendukung perkembangan kognitif anak usia sekolah dasar
