Abstract

Jurnal ini menganalisis peran penting World Food Programme (WFP) dalam mengatasi Food Insecurity di Mozambik selama periode 2019 hingga 2022. Food Insecurity di negara ini merupakan masalah multidimensi yang dipicu oleh faktor-faktor kompleks seperti perubahan iklim ekstrem, konflik bersenjata di wilayah utara, serta tingkat kemiskinan yang tinggi yang mempengaruhi akses terhadap sumber daya pangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi berbagai intervensi WFP, termasuk program distribusi makanan darurat kepada keluarga rentan, dukungan pertanian melalui penyediaan benih dan alat, serta inisiatif peningkatan ketahanan pangan jangka panjang seperti pendidikan nutrisi dan pengembangan infrastruktur pertanian. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam dengan penerima manfaat dan staf WFP, tinjauan literatur terkini, serta observasi lapangan di daerah terdampak. Temuan ini diharapkan memberikan wawasan berharga bagi pengambil kebijakan, organisasi internasional, dan pemangku kepentingan lainnya dalam merancang strategi yang lebih adaptif dan berkelanjutan untuk mengatasi Food Insecurity di Mozambik dan negara-negara berkembang serupa di masa depan.
