Kebutuhan informasi sangat penting terutama dalam pelayanan Kesehatan, hal ini menunjang peningkatan mutu rumah sakit, puskesmas dan pelayanan Home Care. Pengumpulan data, analisa data dan keputusan memberikan peranan penting dalam pelayanan Kesehatan. Lansia merupakan salah satu pengguna keputusan tersebut. Manfaat sistem informasi pada para lansia lebih memberikan manfaat dari pada hambatannya. Pemanfaatan yang optimal akan meningkatkan kualitas hidup para lansia dan mengoptimalkan sumber yang ada dan menurunkan biaya perawatan. Sistem informasi yang tepat guna dan terintegrasi dapat digunakan selain para lansia itu sendiri, dapat digunakan untuk pengembangan ilmu Kesehatan dan meningkat kualitas pelayanan Kesehatan bagi masyrakat khususnya keperawatan. Dampak sistem informasi manajemen bagi pelayanan keperawatan yaitu menjadikan pelayana yang efektif dan efisen dengan cara mempersingkat waktu dalam urusan administrasi dan hal yang bersifat manual menjadi komputerisasi.oleh sebab itu peneliti melakukan metode literature review dari berbagai jurnal yang didapat dari RCT, Cross secsional, deskriftif kualitatif dan jurnal review yang membahas tentang penggunaan system informasi berbasis teknologi digital yang terintegrasi yang berada di rumah sakit ke pusat pelayanan puskesmas dan pelayanan di rumah, dimana hasil dari review jurnal baik dari dunia dan Indonesia belum berjalannya system informasi kesehatan yang terintegrasi. Padahal ini sangat diperlukan dalam meningkatkan kualitas kehidupan lansia, memepertahankan fungsi yang ada dan menggunakan sumber daya yang ada. Dan dimana system informasi sebagai langkah pengambilan keputusan dan data bagi peneliti untuk menghasilkan teori keperawatan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa Sistem informasi keperawatan kesehatan di dunia belum terintegrasi, begitu juga di Indonesia. Salah satu yang utama dan perlu diadakan adalah terutama bidang geriatri
