STUDI KASUS PENERAPAN DIPLOMASI MULTI TRACK QATAR TERHADAP EKSISTENSI PENINGKATAN MUALLAF PASKA PIALA DUNIA DI TAHUN 2022

Abstract

Penelitian ini akan mengkaji proses implementasi Diplomasi Multi-Track Qatar dalam misinya untuk memperluas pengaruh Islam di seluruh dunia dengan memanfaatkan posisinya sebagai tuan rumah Piala Dunia 2022. Studi ini akan berfokus pada periode pasca-Piala Dunia dan peningkatan jumlah mualaf (memeluk Islam) sebagai hasil dari upaya diplomasi Qatar. Diplomasi Multi-Track merujuk pada penggunaan berbagai aktor, termasuk aktor negara dan non-negara, untuk membangun hubungan dan mencapai tujuan diplomatis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif, kuantitatif, serta metode sampel dan data. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah 1. Qatar menggunakan Al Jazeera dalam diplomasi balik dan berbagai jenis lainnya, 2. Aspek diplomasi Qatar yang meningkatkan jumlah mualaf adalah pendekatan budaya Islam, 3. Pendekatan diplomasi media informasi untuk fasilitas umum menggunakan kode QR dan spanduk Islam, serta membuka acara Piala Dunia 2022. 4. Qatar menggunakan perbedaan antara Piala Dunia Islam di Qatar dan Piala Dunia sebelumnya untuk mempromosikan identitasnya sebagai negara Muslim dan juga mendukung Palestina. Tulisan ini berdasarkan penelitian akademis sebelumnya dalam bentuk jurnal dan tesis, dari peneliti di institut penelitian dan akademisi di universitas, khususnya di Qatar dan juga di dunia internasional. Penelitian ini juga menambahkan referensi dari buku dan berita sebagai referensi tambahan. Hasilnya, data dari sumber-sumber ini kemudian disusun menjadi satu kesatuan agar dapat memberikan informasi yang terorganisir dan terstruktur bagi pembaca. Penelitian yang ada menggunakan model interaktif sebagai teknik analisis data.
