Publication Ethics

J-ABDI: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication malpractice. This journal follows the ethical guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and expects all parties involved in the publication process—including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher—to adhere to these ethical principles.

Authors' Responsibilities

Authors must:

  • Submit original and unpublished work.
  • Ensure that all listed authors have made significant contributions to the manuscript.
  • Properly acknowledge the work of others through appropriate citations.
  • Disclose any financial or personal conflicts of interest.
  • Promptly notify the editor if a significant error is discovered after publication.

Editors' Responsibilities

Editors are responsible for:

  • Making publication decisions based solely on the scientific merit of the manuscript.
  • Maintaining confidentiality throughout the editorial process.
  • Ensuring a fair and unbiased review process.
  • Preventing conflicts of interest.

Reviewers' Responsibilities

Reviewers are expected to:

  • Evaluate manuscripts objectively and constructively.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all submitted materials.
  • Identify relevant published work not cited by the authors.
  • Declare any conflicts of interest.
