Abstract

Inefisiensi pemipilan manual cengkeh menurunkan kualitas dan kesejahteraan petani skala kecil di Indonesia, termasuk di Desa Puncak, Sinjai. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengembangkan prototipe mesin pemipil partisipatif, (2) meningkatkan kapasitas teknis petani, dan (3) menganalisis dampak awal terhadap efisiensi dan persepsi. Mengadopsi metode Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) dan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), kegiatan mencakup asesmen kebutuhan, co-design, pelatihan, dan evaluasi. Hasilnya, berhasil dikembangkan mesin berkapasitas 50 kg/jam dengan efisiensi 94%. Pelatihan melibatkan 15 petani dengan peningkatan pengetahuan teknis 87% (p<0.01). Waktu pemipilan berkurang drastis dari 7,8 jam menjadi 1,2 jam per karung. Analisis TAM menunjukkan skor perceived usefulness 4,5 dan perceived ease of use 4,2 (skala 5). Simpulannya, integrasi desain partisipatif dan pelatihan efektif meningkatkan efisiensi dan adopsi teknologi. Keberlanjutan memerlukan model kelembagaan dan dukungan kebijakan desa yang jelas.
