Abstract

Employee performance in regional banking depends on the organization's ability to combine relational conditions, individual capability, and shared work norms. This study examines the effects of leadership, competence, and organizational culture on employee performance at PT Bank Perekonomian Rakyat Bahteramas Konawe (Perseroda). A quantitative cross-sectional design was employed using a census of 33 eligible employees from a population of 35; the president director and operational director were excluded. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression in SPSS. The regression model was significant (F=53.966; p<0.001) and explained 84.8% of the variance in performance (R²=0.848; adjusted R²=0.832). Leadership positively affected performance (B=0.254; p=0.016), as did competence (B=0.313; p=0.005) and organizational culture (B=0.477; p<0.001). The findings indicate that performance in a regional public bank reflects the combined contribution of leadership quality, employee capability, and organizational norms. The study contributes an integrated resource perspective and shows that organizational culture yielded the largest reported regression coefficient in this setting.
